Terms

Terms & Conditions

These are the terms a rental runs on. They are written to be read rather than skipped, and they say the same things we would say to you on the phone.

Mon–Sat 7am–7pm

Last updated September 2026.

What these terms cover

They apply to any portable restroom, accessible unit, hand-wash station or restroom trailer rented from Orlando Porta Potty, and to the use of this website. Placing a booking with us counts as agreeing to these terms. If a written quote or order confirmation says something different, that document wins for that booking.

How a booking is made

By telephone. There is no online checkout and no form on this site; the price is agreed on a call and the booking exists from the point we both confirm it. A quote is based on what you describe — the address, the access, the headcount and the dates — so if any of those turn out differently on the day, the price may need to change, and we will say so before anything is done rather than afterwards.

What the price includes

Unless we tell you otherwise on the call, the quoted figure covers delivery to the agreed address, the rental of the units for the agreed period, the scheduled pump-outs and restocking, and collection at the end. There is no separate fuel, environmental or restocking line.

It does not include anything that is not a rental: permits, road closures, generator rental for a restroom trailer where the site has no power, or work caused by damage that is not fair wear and tear.

Payment

Payment terms are set when the booking is made. Card payments are handled by our processor. Account arrangements for ongoing site work are agreed separately, and invoices are due on the terms stated on them.

Getting on site

You are responsible for making sure the delivery vehicle can reach the placement and that the ground will hold a unit reasonably level. That includes telling us in advance about gates, gate widths, height restrictions, codes, sign-in procedures, soft ground, private access agreements and anything else that would stop a truck.

If a delivery or a scheduled service visit cannot be completed because access was not as described, we will contact you to re-arrange, and a further visit may be chargeable.

Placement and moving units

The driver will place units where you direct, and will tell you if a spot is unsafe, out of level or unreachable for future servicing. Once placed, units must not be moved, lifted or towed by anyone other than us — they are heavy, they carry liquid waste, and moving one incorrectly is how people get hurt and how tanks get spilled. If a unit needs to move, call and we will move it.

Servicing

Units on long rentals are serviced on an agreed schedule — weekly as standard, more often where the traffic or the season calls for it. Event rentals are serviced to the pattern agreed for that event. If a scheduled visit is missed because of access, weather or something outside our control, we will complete it as soon as we reasonably can.

How the units may be used

Units are for their ordinary purpose. Nothing should go into a tank other than normal waste and the paper we supply — no solvents, paint, chemicals, hot ash, construction debris or hazardous material. Units must not be used for storage, must not be modified, painted or covered, and nothing may be attached to them without our agreement.

Damage, loss and vandalism

Fair wear and tear over the course of a rental is expected and is our cost. Damage beyond that — including vandalism, tipping, fire, theft and contamination of a tank — is the hirer’s responsibility while the units are in your possession, and will be charged at the cost of repair or replacement. We will tell you what has happened and what it costs before it reaches an invoice.

Canceling or changing

Tell us as early as you can. Changes to unit counts, dates or placements are normally straightforward and are handled on a phone call. Cancellations close to a delivery date, and cancellations of restroom trailers where a date has been held, may carry a charge; where that applies we will have said so when the booking was made.

Permits and compliance

Permits are yours. Closing a street, standing a unit on the public right of way, or meeting a condition attached to an event license is the hirer’s responsibility, and the requirements differ between Orlando, the other municipalities and unincorporated Orange County. Placing the units inside whatever permission you hold is ours.

Liability

We are responsible for delivering, servicing and collecting the units with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost business or the cost of a delayed event — and our total liability in connection with a rental will not exceed the amount paid for that rental. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Things outside anyone’s control

Hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, road closures, fuel shortages and similar events can delay a delivery or a service visit. Where that happens we will tell you honestly what we can do and when, rather than promise a window we cannot hold.

This website

What appears here is provided for information. Unit counts suggested by the planner on this site are estimates to start a conversation, not guarantees of compliance with any regulation or permit condition. Links to other companies’ sites, and any landmark named on our area pages, do not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those companies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts sitting in Orange County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes to these terms

This page can be revised from time to time. The terms that apply to your rental are the ones in force when the booking was made, and the date at the top of this page tells you when the current version was published.
